• 1998 - March 2000- Master studies, International Security and Civil-Military Relations, Naval Postgraduate School, Monterey, California, USA

• 1991 – 1997 - IT Specialist - Analyst / Programmer, different units within the Czech Ministry of Defence,
• 1997 – 1998 - Security Specialist, General Staff
• 2000 – 2004 - Head of the Security Department (Security of information and communication systems, cryptographic security, physical security),
• 2004 - Sept 2010 – Military Intelligence, Security Specialist
• September 2010 onwards - Security Director of the Czech MoD

I retired in December 2010 (after 25 years of military service) from the Czech Armed Forces at the rank of Colonel.

Responsibilities:
- All security fields - Security of Information and Communication Systems, Cryptographic Security, Physical, Personal and Administrative Security and Cyber Defence within the Czech MoD
- cooperation with National Security Authority and other governmental institutions and also NATO bodies in the field of security
